The Care-Box project was started in 2004 as a way to express our gratitude and thank our deployed service members from the Rockbridge County area of Virginia for their service to our country.
Since then, over 2,850 care-boxes have been sent to our local Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, National Guard & Marines. Each receives at least one care-box per month at an average cost of $95 per box.
Support for this program is community resourced with 100% of the funds raised spent directly on the procurement and mailing of care-boxes. Everything is done by volunteers.
This is but a small way we can thank these brave heroes for their sacrifice and service.
